How Do You Record Dvds On A Soft Modded Xbox?
A soft modded Xbox is capable of recording content off of a video game or even a DVD. This allows you to store an entire game or movie on the hard drive of the Xbox. Insert the DVD into the DVD tray and close it. Wait for the Xbox soft modded menu to load. Select “Record DVD to Xbox.” The screen now changes and asks where on the hard drive you want to record the disk to. Move through the options with your joystick and select the save location. Click “OK” and the drive begins to record the movie off of the DVD. Once finished the soft modded Xbox ejects the disk. Navigate through the Xbox menu until you find the location where you saved the movie. Select the movie and press “Play.” The DVD movie now plays from the hard drive. When playing the DVD from the hard drive you do not need the adapter inserted into the controller port.
