In order to put a movie format like AVI on a blank DVD disc, you’ll need to use some software. You can get such software for free on the Internet. Usually you’ll be able to use the program for free, but with some limitations until you decide whether you want to purchase the full version of the program. Locate a DVD program like “Easy-MPEG-AVI-DIVX-WMV-RM-to-DVD” or “Easy DVD Creator.” (There are links to this programs below in “Resources.”) Click on the “Download Now” text on the website to begin download. Open the downloaded file to begin installation. Put your blank DVD in your DVD drive. Open the DVD program. Right-click on the box in the main program and select “Add Video File To List.” Click the “Video to DVD” button to get the burn process going.
