How Do You Record A TV Show On A Toshiba DVR?
Toshiba digital video recorders record programs from your television for later viewing. While many DVRs record onto an internal hard drive, Toshiba DVRs record onto blank DVDs. You can record shows in real time or by programming the DVR to record at a later time. Turn on the DVR and select the video input that the recorder is connected to. Refer to your television’s user guide for information on changing the video input. Press the “Open/Close” button to open the disc tray. Place the blank DVD on the tray and press the “Open/Close” button a second time. The DVR will format the disc for recording. Enter recording mode by pressing the “REC MODE” button repeatedly until the setting you want is displayed. The options available are “XP,” “SP,” “LP,” “EP” and “SLP.” The differences between the options are the amount of recording time versus the quality of the recording. For example, “XP” offers the shortest recording time at 60 minutes, but it is the highest quality. “SLP” offers 480 minutes
