If you’ve ever been to Rhode Island, you’ve probably tasted quahog chowder, New England style clam chowder. This chowder recipe is some of the best comfort food ever made and is a family recipe handed down for several generations. Great soup anytime, but especially in the chilly months of winter. Recipe: In a large soup pot, sauté onions until just glossy in a little olive oil. Add chopped potatoes to the soup pot, cover with chicken stock, or use water and boullion cubes.
