One of the greatest opportunities that I have had in my life was to visit the White House during the presidency of President Obama. I thought that the process would be tiring and not worth it at all, but to my surprise, the entire process paid off and was very rewarding. I believe that every American citizen, especially our young people, should visit the White House at least once in your lifetime. DETERMINE YOUR DATE FOR THE VISIT: This is important because you will have to schedule your White House visit six months in advance. CONTACT YOUR CONGRESSMAN: You cannot contact or schedule your visit to the White House directly. You will have to call or go to your congressman’s website and register your group or yourself online.
