Replacing tiles is relatively easy for the do-it-yourselfer. Make sure the tile surface is clear of any old glue, this can be removed with varsol or something similar. Make sure the floor surface is completly clean. There will be a build up on the edges of the tiles left on the floor and the loose one, a utility knife can carefully remove this (so the tile sits in place easier). Once clean and dry you need to apply a floor adhesive avaiable at hardware store in tube form. Follow instructions properly and set your tile in place. Make sure it lays properly and lined up with any patterns place a weight on the tile(s) for the drying period of the glue. Why did the tile lift? If there’s water leaking close by you’re going to have to solve that problem before a repeat performance happens.
