Reassembling the medium turbine assembly of the Aquabug requires putting several parts back in place in the upper middle body. The medium turbine turns the top gear, the medium gear and the gears in the gearbox. All these gears work together to run the cleaner during its cleaning cycle. Here’s how to reassemble the medium turbine assembly. Set the upper middle assembly housing top side up on a work bench. Locate the bushing housing hole in the top side of the assembly housing. Push the bushing into the hole as far down as it will go. The top edge of the bushing will be slightly above the hole if you install it properly. Push the top gear shaft into the bushing. Hold the top gear in place with your thumb and turn the upper middle housing over. Push the bottom gear onto the hexagonal shaft of the top gear. Make sure the gears spin freely.
