How Do You REALLY Become A Plus Size Model?
I decided to post this because there is a lot of misinformation or incomplete information out there on this subject. You do not become a model in order to make other big girls feel good about themselves – you do so in order to make money selling a product, idea, etc. Have you ever heard of a size 2 aspiring model say she wants to represent for the skinny girls??? As a model you become a commodity, and as a commodity you are bound by the demand for that commodity, and the demand dictates the requirements that you need to meet in order to make it as a professional. There are always exceptions to the rules, but they are few and far between, and you generally need to be fantastically gorgeous to be able to be one of those exceptions – it has nothing to do with your drive, your wishes, what your mom says or how many modeling classes you take.
