How Do You Read American Manga Online?
American manga is a type of graphic novel. Often referred to as “Amerimanga,” the novels are in English but drawn in the style of Japanese manga. As of 2010, Tokyo Pop is the largest publisher of American manga in the world. Several smaller graphic novelists publish their work as well. Its tricky for people to read American manga online. Most sites require you to become a member or purchase the novels. Check out a few of these sites to read free Amerimanga online. Navigate to the publisher site Tokyo Pop or the American manga site, AnimeA. On the Tokyo Pop site, click on “Manga+Comics” and scroll over to “Fan Created.” Click on one of the search options in the scroll menu. A new window opens with a list of fan created manga. Click on a title to open a new window. All of these are available to read free online.
