How Do You QUIETLY Calm Yourself Down?
Are you frustrated, angry, sad??? Then you know you need to calm down! Follow these steps and you will be just fine. First, go to a quiet place you can be alone. Somewhere that won’t be distracting. Go in your room and lock the door! Second, what everyone will tell you, BREATHE! Yes, breathing really will help. Close your eyes, take in 10 slow and deep breaths before you do anything else. Breathe in thru your nose and release it from your mouth. Third…open your eyes and focus on one thing in the room. Keep breathing if you have to. Release all your thoughts in your head while you focus on this object. The point is to still be in this quiet place. So no yelling or screaming or crying outloud. Do it in your head. Once you have dealt with all the bad thoughts in your mind you can start to release them. Again, not outloud. Write down why you felt that way on paper.
