Clean the shoes as good as possible with a soft rag, soap and warm water. You can always go back over and apply some extra elbow grease to the scuffed or corroded areas of the shoes if you think it’s necessary. Step 2 Take a permanent magic marker, one which matches closet to the shade of your shoes, and color over where the erosion or scuffing has occurred.
