How Do You Queda De Rins In Brazilian Capoeira Martial Arts?
“GRADUADO ADVOGADO: Hi, my name is Advogado on behalf of Expert Village. We’re going to talk today about a basic acrobatic movement called queda de rins. Now queda de rins means, literally, fall on your kidneys. And the easiest way to think of this is–a lot times people would see this in break dancing. A lot of movements in break dancing use the same basic movement. Capoeira is no different. A lot of basic ground movements and that kind of thing require you to be able to not only get into this movement but to get yourself back out of it as well and to be able to balance on your elbow a little bit. So we’re going to go and go down on the right-hand side. But on the left-hand side, it will be just the same thing, just the opposite obviously. Okay, so you want to start by squatting down on the balls of your feet and this is just a way to train the movement to where you have a comfortable–to where you can use it into some more capoeira acrobatics and ground movements and that type of thi
