How Do You Put Up With An Annoying Cousin?
• Politely say that you are not interested in whatever game they are offering. Being polite can make somebody do what you say. Remember, if you be nice to someone, they will probably be nice back. • Tell them that if they continue to bug you, you will tell the grownups. This can scare them into leaving you alone. • Try not to raise your voice too much or you will seem like an aggressor. If you raise your voice, this will get you knowhere. Being nice can make a big difference. • Don’t cry or go to the grownups immediately, even if you know they’re lying; no one likes a tattletale. If you do talk to a grownup, explain the situation calmly. Again, being nice here could help you a great deal. • Never yell loudly and storm in or out of rooms wildly if the cousin is annoying you; just let it slide because if you lose your temper you will seem like you are getting mad for no real reason.
