Customizing your belt by replacing the old, standard buckle with a new, Western-style buckle of your choice takes only seconds. The most important thing to make sure beforehand is whether you have the appropriate belt strap to accommodate a Western-style belt buckle–that is, a belt strap that uses snaps to attach the buckle. Open the snaps on the belt strap to remove the old buckle. Remove the old buckle. Replace with Western belt buckle. Close snaps to secure new buckle.
