How Do You Put On A Respironics Optilife Nasal Pillow CPAP Mask?
This mask looks crazy, but it’s not too bad. I’ll show you how to put the Optilife on quickly and easily. Hold the mask just like the picture shows. Have the headgear in the front of the nasal pillow apparatus. It must be assembled properly prior to putting it on. Please see my article about how to assemble an Optilife Nasal Pillow mask if you don’t think that your mask is put together properly. Rest your chin on the chin support and insert the nasal pillows into your nose. The chin support strap should prevent the pillows from jamming up into your nose. Now grab the part of the headgear that has the name of the product on it. It says OptiLife and Respironics. Pull this part over your head and straighten out the straps if they get twisted. If the nasal pillows are too loose in your nose or there is a leak when you turn the machine on, tighten the mask. Just pull on the Velcro straps as shown in the picture. All done. Sleep well.
