How Do You Put Netting On A Petticoat?
Petticoats can give the wearer an air of mystery and elegance. Petticoats were once worn as undergarments beneath heavy dresses, but nowadays can be worn by themselves for a feminine, romantic look. Adding netting to the bottom adds an extra element of beauty and grace. Decide how much netting you want to be visible under your petticoat. Be sure not to sew the netting too high under the skirt, or it will add too much volume. Tuck the netting just under the hem of the petticoat and attach with safety pins or sewing pins. Using needle and thread or sewing machine, stitch the netting to the underside of the petticoat.
