Putting in a new screen requires a trip to your local home improvement store, a little measuring and some old-fashioned elbow grease. Buy a roll of screening from your local home improvement store. Check the measurements on the roll to ensure that you will have enough screening material to replace all of the screens you need to replace. Remove the old screen and spline. The spline is the thin black cord that holds the screen in place. Pry the spline out of the window channel with a screwdriver. Once you pry up one end, you should be able to easily pull out the rest of the spline and remove the screen. Measure the window opening. Unroll the roll so that the screen lays flat. Weigh down the corner of
