How do you put drive belt on a troy bilt?
First off take out the battery and the battery box.. Then underneath you will see the drive belt. There are two springs that connect to the back of the mower. Pop those springs out. Then the pulleys will come together. They are Spring Loaded. Then relplace the belts. NOW The fun part. Putting the springs back on! I tried a drill, a pulley system, a screwdriver, and nothing worked. Finally i decided rope. I took a two foot piece of nylon rope tied it to make a circle wrapped on around the hook in the spring and then JERK ONCE AND BOOM YOUR DONE!!!
