How do you put an ac and power steering belt on a 2000 ford ZX2?
This is the serpentine belt mentioned in other questions. The belt has a specific routing path, make sure all the idlers are good befor installing a new belt. You can check this by rotating the idlers, seeing if there is any lateral movement. Also a good time to check the water pump. If it is leaking, just 8 bolts get it changed. If you have not changed the timing belt, now is a good time to consider that too, as you are half way there. Tensioner to remove or install the serp is accessed from below the cara, with the right side splash shield removed.
