Platial is called “The People’s Atlas.” It is a user-generated map of the world that allows users to associate relevant content with specific geographic locations. You can post Platial maps on your website or blog to allow visitors to contribute additional information and comments regarding the geographic focus of your map. Select or create the Platial map you want to post on your site. Locate and click Platial’s “Publish” button located either beside or beneath the map. Click on the “Style This Map” button. This allows you to customize your Platial map to the specific needs of your website or blog. Choose the elements you want to include on your map from the choices provided. You are allowed to choose description, images, tags and comments. Designate a style for your map. Click the selection circle next to your choice. Customize your Platial map’s title. Enter your title text in the box provided. Click on “View Map” to see your personalized Platial map prior to posting it on your site
