How do you put a guitar strap on an acoustic guitar when it only has one strap button?
you can take a thin piece of leather string…and tie it underneath the strings above the first fret…right below your tuners….give around a a few inches and create a nice thick knot…..use the knot to lock on to the strap…….and you’ll be good to go……..or you can always go to a local music store and buy another strap button….and tack it in behind the bottom of the neck…..i find it better and more comfortable when the guitar hugs the body a little tighter…..when you strap it on at the top using the leather ….the guitar seems to want to rock around the body a little loosely….anyway,hope i helped…and good luck with your playing ……groove on.
