How Do You Put A Duvet Cover On Easily?
I can’t believe I’ve been struggling all these years with duvet covers and pillowcases by shaking duvets and pillows into them. I recently had two different friends enlighten me with the EASY way to put them on. Spread out the empty duvet cover, with the open bottom at the foot of the bed, and undo the buttons. Grab the corner at the top of the cover with your “outside” hand. With your “inside” hand, reach INSIDE the duvet cover and grab that top corner and pull it all the way through the cover until it’s poking out the bottom. Grab the corner of the duvet itself and place it right next to that “poking out” corner. With your “outside” hand, pull both the corner of the cover and the duvet itself–you’re now pulling the duvet up inside the cover, holding on to both it and the corner at the same time. Once the duvet has been pulled all the way up into the cover, button the buttons.
