How do you protect the fiberglass and the other critical components like the corona ring and test bands while transporting the jib?
Typically, the jib will remain stowed on the base boom of the crane. It may also be transported on a trailer. In all cases, the corona ring has a guard to protect the sharp edge and the entire jib assembly has a vinyl cover. An additional hard shell cover may be necessary depending on the situation.
