U cannot set a password for HDD but u can give permission who wants to access it right click on Drive which u want to give a permission go to properties in properties go to security tab go to advance in permission tab un check inherit from parent the permission after un checking u will get a pop-up to copy, remove & cancel click on copy after coping the permission click on ok now in security tab remove all the user add only u r user account & give him a full permission in XP who ever access the folder thy get an error access deniad in vista it will ask for password only after installing windows XP service pack 2 u will get this optation
