How do you protect carpet from 2 huge dogs (100+ lbs each)?
There are several options. They sell that clear plastic stuff used in model homes to protect the carpet. I’m in a rental home and the den had WHITE carpet…I have two black dogs that come in from digging in the back yard with muddy paws on that white carpet. I went to an outlet store and bought two huge squares of carpet….only cost me about $20 for 9x9s. Granted, that carpet gets dirty as hell…but it’s better than getting the white carpet dirty. As a final option, you can always pull up that carpet and padding while you are there and put it back down when you leave. That sounds like way too much work for me though!
