How Do You Properly Secure A Rope Halter?
Many people use rope halters when handling their horses. Today’s segment will show you how to properly secure your halter, and will also explain WHY to secure it in this fashion. If I had a dime for every rope halter that I have seen tied thusly, I would have a new truck, paid for, insured, and fuel for a year to drive anywhere my heart desires. Feed crown piece through throatlatch loop as shown, and back UNDER throatlatch. Feed end of crown piece over the throatlatch piece, and through the loop, as shown. Pull snugly, over top of the throatlatch piece.
