How Do You Properly Fold The American Flag?
We have all seen military service members fold an American flag into a triangle shape. Now you can learn to fold your own flag. This will take at least two people to fold. Pull the flag at each end as you start each of the next steps and step in with each fold. Proceed slowly and try to keep the folds crisp and tight. Fold up in a triangle shape the entire length, starting at the striped end. As one person holds the Flag by the blue field, another makes a triangular fold in the opposite and continues to make triangular folds until the entire Flag is in a triangle. The union (stars) should be showing. Tuck the loose edge of the Flag into the pocket formed by the folds so that only the blue field and white stars are visible.
