How Do You Program Tivo From Yahoo TV?
TiVo has taken the market by storm, giving TV viewers many more options for watching TV when and how they want to. Now TiVo allows you to record a single episode or an entire season of a specific show. You can also record any performance of a favorite actor. Better yet, if you want to automatically delete commercials, rerun, go in slow motion or see an instant replay, you can do so with TiVo that you program right from your computer with Yahoo TV. Click on the ‘Yahoo TV’ tab while on the Yahoo home page (see Resources below). Find the show you want to record and select it. Find the button that says ‘Record TiVo.’ Click on this button. Your request will be transmitted to your TiVo the next time it connects. Allow at least an hour if you use Yahoo on broadband high speed. If you access Yahoo via dial-up, allow 3 to 6 hours for the request to be transmitted. Click on ‘Backspace’ to go back to the TV schedules.
