How Do You Program An RCA Universal Remote Using Manual Code Search?
• Turn on the target device, your VCR, DVD TV etc. • Press and hold code search until the LED lights up. • Release the code search button. • Press and release the component button you wish to program. When this is done the indicator light for that component will blink and then remain steadily lit. • Press and hold the code search button until the correct code is found. A new code is sent every three seconds. This can take a while. Press Enter to save the code. • Follow steps 1-3 above. • Press TV on the remote. • Slowly and continuously, press the on/off switch until the TV turns off. Press enter as soon as the TV turns off.
