How Do You Program A Wayne Dalton Garage Remote Opener?

0

Wayne-Dalton manufactures a variety of remote garage-door openers. The KEP-IV Wireless Keyless entry system is compatible with the idrive, prodrive, Classicdrive and Quantum openers. The device uses a four-digit personal identification number (PIN) and rolling code system to keep your garage safe. The code that is transmitted to the garage door opener changes each time, preventing someone from capturing the frequency used to open your garage and gaining unauthorized access. Locate and press the “Program” button on your garage-door opener. Depending on the opener you are using, the LED will illuminate or the opener will beep, indicating that it is in “learn mode.” Open the cover of the KEP-IV keypad and press the “On/Off/Reset” button. Enter your desired four-digit PIN by pressing the numbers on the keypad. Press and hold “0” on the keypad until the door begins to move. Your Wayne-Dalton garage-door opener is now programmed to work with the KEP-IV keypad.
