How Do You Program A Speedstream Ethernet ADSL Modem?
Properly configuring your Speedstream ADSL modem is necessary to complete the connection to your high-speed Internet service. Accomplish this by physically attaching the modem to your computer and then configuring it through the network settings menu within your operating system. The procedure takes 10 to 15 minutes in most cases. Plug an Ethernet cable into the network port on the back of the modem and plug the modem into the wall to turn it on. Connect the other end of the cable to the network port on the back of your computer. Click “Start,” type “Network and Sharing Center” into the Search box and press “Enter.” Click “Set up a connection,” select an “Internet” connection and select “Broadband.” Enter in the access details for your Speedstream DSL connection (including the user name and password given to you by Speedstream). Type “Speedstream DSL” in the “Connection Name” field to properly address the modem and press “Connect” to complete the setup.
