Panasonic video cassette recorders are used to play video cassette tapes to view on a television. The majority of VCRs come with remote controls so that the settings of the device can be easily adjusted from a distance. However, if you do not have a remote for your particular VCR, you can still program it manually by using the buttons on the front of the device. Select the video playback channel on the back of your VCR. The VCR can be active on either Channel 3 or 4. If you have connected the VCR using RCA cables, you can skip this step.
