How Do You Program A Home Thermostat?
In this step by step course the reader will learn how to program a Home Thermostat, ensure it has batteries, and reset the thermostat if needed. The fist step in this process is to remove the cover of your thermostat by firmly grasping the cover with your dominant hand and pull the cover towards your body and it should slip off. Once the cover is off; locate the batteries (typically located at the bottom of the device.) Notice in the image the reset button located at the top center and the fuse located to the far right. Next, replace the cover and get familiar with the front cover and the buttons. The cover typically displays an up and down button, a set button, a program/maunal button, a cool-heat-off button, and a fan on and off button.
