As garage doors began to incorporate keyless remote systems, Nissan vehicles followed suit by offering onboard opener programming. The Nissan Quest allows you to program the HomeLink system to any garage door motor, giving you full access to your system from as far as a couple hundred feet away. Programming can be done in just minutes from your garage using only the car and the garage remote itself. Enter your vehicle and press and hold the two outer buttons on your HomeLink system until the red indicator light on the system begins to flash. Hold your garage remote two inches from the onboard system and press and hold the open button on your remote and the button you are programming on the HomeLink system. Release the buttons once the indicator light begins to flash rapidly. Press the training button on your HomeLink system in your Quest until the light begins to glow solid.
