How Do You Program A Directv Card?
“Okay, this instruction is to…how to program a DIRECTV access card. The access card is at the front right-hand corner of the receiver. You just pull down a little door, and if they send you a new card, you just take out the old card, insert the new into the receiver. You see the screen goes blank. And then you have to actually go to the menu system of the receiver and select the access card portion of the sub-menu. It’s rather easy to do. There’s the access card. You have to push a dash to let you in to the menu. And it says ‘The information from your old access card must be read before inserting the new one.’ So, you have to read that, then insert the new one. And select ‘Begin’, and then you’ll have…you may have a notice that comes up to call customer service at DIRECTV, and they’ll give you, there’s a little number right after the ‘Call customer service.’ They’ll ask you what that number says.
