Sometimes you might want a record of the Internet history on a computer, for whatever reason. However, when you view your Internet history via Windows Explorer, there is no option for you to print. So if you want to print the Internet history in Vista, you have to view the Internet history with a program that features a print option. Your Internet history is stored in the index.dat file, which is a hidden file that can be read with the appropriate software. Click on “Start,” and input “Folder Options” into the search bar before pressing “Enter.” Click on “Folder Options” to open the “Folder Options” window, and click on the “View” tab. Select “Show hidden files and folder” beneath the “Hidden files and folders” heading.
