How Do You Prevent Wooden & Bamboo Skewers From Burning On The Grill?

0

Prevent the unsightly, and difficult to handle burning of the ends of your skewers when grilling by following this amazingly easy technique. No longer will charring occur on the grill! Cook like a professional chef, and have your food taste like it too. Fill a container that is long enough to hold the skewers with water. The type of water doesn’t matter as long as it’s clean. No need to pour a bottle of Evian inside or anything as the heat from the grill will take care of most anything if it exists inside. Add 1-2 teaspoons of sea salt for every 2 quarts of water. Place the skewers inside, and allow them to soak overnight. When ready to use, create the dish. Only take the skewers out of the water when they are ready to impale food, and then place directly upon the grill. Watch as they do not burn, and actually impart a bit of flavor on the food. Enjoy!
