• Clean the steps as usual. • Make a rinse. Add one aspirin (acetylsalicylic acid) tablet and a tablespoon of methylated spirits (denatured alcohol) to the rinse mixture. • Rinse the step down with this mixture. The aspirin and the denatured alcohol will work together to keep the steps from freezing up. Repeat as needed. When you notice icy build-up again, repeat.
