How Do You Prevent Getting Kidney Stones?
Kidney stones are really painful. I had 6 kidney stones before I turned 15, and after using the steps below, I have not had one since in almost 3 years. Drink a lot of water! People say drink 8 glasses of water a day. If you want to prevent kidney stones, drink 10 or 11 glasses a day. Water is the best thing you can put in your diet, it literally helps every organ in addition to your kidneys. Don’t eat salty foods. Rule of thumb, don’t eat any food that has more than 380 mg of salt per serving. You don’t have to give up salt altogether, but you should lower your intake greatly. Eat as little fast food as possible. Fast foods have large amounts of salt, and are bad for not just your kidneys, but for your heart as well. Also, avoid packaged foods and frozen foods as much as possible too.
