How Do You Prepare Powdered Infant Formulas?

0

Properly preparing an infants bottle is VERY important for your baby’s health. Just follow these simple steps in preparing your infant’s formula. Always remember that breastfeeding IS ALWAYS best for your baby or infant, but this is not always an option. If your baby is on formula, make sur that you are preparing the formula carefully as directed. Always read the exact instructions for your infant formula. Most formulas are 2 scoops (provided with the formula) per fluid ounce of water. Add the amount of distilled water that is needed to your sterilized bottle. (Distilled water is the most sterile water available from most grocers. Waters that are often sold in the infant section have added fluoride, which they lead you to believe is what your child needs, but the fluoride is not necessary and can actually damage their teeth, even before they are fully in.) Add the amount of formula required to the water. Replace the nipple and shake well.
