How Do You Prepare Italian Style Liver & Onions?
I know most people turn their nose up when it comes to liver and onions. Believe me I know I did the same thing. My mother-in-law introduced me to this recipe and now I won’t eat liver any other way. Step 1 Cut liver into serving size pieces, then coat with flour, salt, garlic, and pepper. Set aside. Step 2 Heat olive oil in skillet and sauté onions until cooked. (clear). Set aside. In the same skillet add liver and brown on both sides over medium heat. Step 3 Replace onions and bacon in skillet with liver and add sweet wine. Bring to boil and cook 1 minute and serve.
