Then the reacher can be attached to walker or cane, so you have it with you at all times. Also, attach a cloth bag, purse…etc to front of walker to carry things with you. PUT A SMALL FLASHLIGHT IN THERE! My electric went off! I was glad I had it. Step 2 Getting your surgical leg in out of bed is difficult, by yourself. I suggest you have the belt, to a robe, to put around bottom of foot, with reacher, or lasso foot. Then pull the foot/leg up with your hands with rope to bed. Step 3 Make sure you have more then one reacher, incase you drop one, you can pick up with other, since you can’t bend over. Can buy these at most pharmacies.
