How Do You Prepare High School Transcripts?
Preparing a high school transcript involves collecting much more than simply your grades for the past four years. There are numerous sections of a transcript, all of them important in going on a job search or applying to colleges. It is important to keep track of your activities, achievements and awards throughout high school in order to present a complete transcript for your applications. There are a number of ways to prepare your transcript. Get a printout of your academic grades, class standing and standardized test scores from your high school guidance counselor or principal. Your grades and overall grade point average need to be sent with your application to schools or employers. Make a list of any activities you were involved in and positions you held. For example, if you were the president of the student council and involved with the marching band or an academic club, this information should be included in your transcript.
