How Do You Prepare For The GRE Verbal Section?
The verbal section comprises one third of the Graduate Records Examination (GRE). You have been preparing for this section throughout your college career. Simply by exposing yourself to different writing styles and learning new words along the way, you have built a great foundation. To get the best score possible on the GRE verbal section it is important to study and prepare. Step 1 Study the different question types that you will encounter on the GRE verbal section. The verbal section will consist of 30 questions divided between antonyms, analogies, sentence completion and reading comprehension questions. Step 2 Review a list of high-frequency GRE vocabulary words found in study guides and online. Add words you cannot easily define to your personal study list.
