How Do You Prepare For Talent Pageants?
• Remember to give yourself credit. This isn’t easy. The complication for participants is that you really do not give yourself enough credit or preparation time, it really takes guts to stand in front of an audience and perform. A couple of main thing to remember is: • Give yourself at least one year and no less them six months of prep time. You do this to allot for nervousness, remember if you are a shower singer it is time to come out of the proverbial closet and perform, preferable with background music wherever you can, i.e. church, the corner, your neighbor’s house, etc. Work those nerves right out! • Know what the judges expect. The thing the judges are looking for, the calm polished contestant, having the most fun out there, in other words, how well you’re relaxed and smile.
