A deposition is a question and answer session regarding a legal case held by the lawyer of the opposite side of the case. If you were the victim of a crime or accident the defendant’s attorney will want to question you officially and under oath of perjury. Be prepared for your deposition by following a few simple steps prior to your scheduled date. Step 1 How to Prepare: Write down the event as best as you can recall. Make sure that you know details such as time, location and circumstances surrounding the incident. Step 2 How to Dress: Dress appropriately by wearing casual business attire or above.
