Every cole slaw recipe contains shredded green and purple cabbage and shredded carrots. What makes each recipe different is the sauce that goes over the vegetables. In this recipe, the addition of lemon pepper gives the cole slaw a taste that is more zesty than the average recipe. How To Prepare Cole Slaw Sauce Step 1 Using a small mixing bowl, add the mayonnaise, lemon pepper, vinegar and lemon juice. Mix together until sauce is well blended. Step 2 Pour the shredded vegetables into a large mixing bowl. Toss to be sure that all pieces of vegetables have been shredded. Step 3 Pour the sauce over the shredded cabbage mixture.
