How Do You Prepare Chili Cheese Dip?
This recipe for chili cheese dip is fast and simple. It will make enough for about 4 to 5 people to snack on during the big game. In a large skillet, cook 1 pound of lean ground beef over medium high heat for 5 minutes, or until cooked, while stirring frequently. Drain any juices left in the skillet after cooking. Add in a 16 oz. jar of mild salsa. Add one pound of cheddar cheese. Use the big block of cheddar they sell at the grocery store. Cut it into cubes so it will melt faster and more evenly. Add 4 teaspoons of chili powder. Add 1 teaspoon of garlic powder. Add 1/2 teaspoon of paprika. Stir frequently and cook over medium heat until all the cheese is melted. Serve your chili cheese dip hot with tortilla chips for dipping. If the dip cools before finishing, you can reheat it in the microwave and continue snacking.
