How Do You Prepare An Emergency Supply Kit?
Everyone in America should have a “Ready to Go Kit” already prepared, and located in an easy to access area. It will take a few days to create yours, but once you do, you will be ready for anything that should come in our world. You need to think about everything that your family will need in an emergency situation. Please read on. Step 1 I would suggest using a large backpack or tote bag, or even an empty cooler. You will need something large, but also capable of carrying. You need your basics of course: * A gallon of water per person per day, for at least 3 days. * At least a 3-day supply of non-perishable food. * Battery-powered or hand crank radio and a NOAA Weather Radio with tone alert and extra batteries for both * Flashlight and extra batteries * First Aid Kit (if you want to create one instead of buying one, I will be posting an article on how to create a first aid kit, so check out my other articles!) * Whistle * Moist towelettes, trash bags, plastic bags, and twist ties. * W
