Presentations are an essential part of doing business. By providing clear and direct presentations you can often bias your success and conversely, even the best ideas are hard to sell if they are poorly presented. By following these simple steps you will be able to perform outstanding presentations. Outline your presentation. Break down the topics that you will cover into a bulleted format on a piece of paper. Allot one slide per topic to be presented. Remember, a general rule of thumb is that each slide will require about one minute to present. Thus if your presentation is 15 slides long it should take about 15 minutes to present it. When creating your slides, use bullets to cover the topics, as you will be speaking to each point on your slide.
